What to Expect
 
During the initial visit, you will meet privately with your acupuncturist to discuss your areas of concern and your general health.  Then you'll enjoy your treatment in a large, quiet room in a recliner where other folks may be resting as well.  This is similar to the way acupuncture is traditionally practiced in China. 
 
Generally, the treatment lasts between 30 minutes to an hour depending on how long you'd like to rest and what type of condition is being treated.
 
In the treatment room, there is minimal talking, only whispering between the patient and acupuncturist when needed.  This way the room renders a relaxing and peaceful group setting.    
For follow-up appointments, a brief conversation regarding your feedback and concerns is conducted chair-side in the treatment room.
